Drivers for all MiniPlex USB products

The drivers below are suitable for all MiniPlex products with a USB port.

Windows	USB driver V2.12.00. This driver supports all MiniPlex USB products. Supports Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP, 2000 and Server 2003/2008 (32 and 64 bit).
macOS	USB driver V2.1/3.1 for macOS 10.6 - 10.15. Warning: This driver does not work on macOS Big Sur! The manufacturer of the USB chips we use in our MiniPlex products (FTDI) has not yet provided a new driver for macOS Big Sur. This means that none of the MiniPlex products with a USB port will work with macOS Big Sur.

Firmware updates

The firmware (internal software) in the MiniPlex-2 and MiniPlex-3 series multiplexers can be updated. To perform an update, download the desired firmware image file to your computer, start MPX-Config and use menu option File -> Update Firmware... to select the downloaded file and start the update process. A new version of MPX-Config may be required after the update, to utilize new functions of the multiplexer.

2.4.4 (W) 2.4.1 (M)	2.2.2	This version of MPX-Config3 matches the new V2.0 firmware. This firmware is embedded in MPX-Config3 and will automatically load into your MiniPlex-3 when connected for the first time. Warning: This update erases the current configuration of your MiniPlex-3! Also, the new MPX-Config3 V2.4.x will not read any old configuration file correctly. We advise to make screen shots of the current configuration using the previous version of MPX-Config3 first.
2.2.0	1.18.0	New Features Read Configuration The configuration of the MiniPlex is now read with one single command instead of several. This improves reading the configuration on a 'busy' multiplexer. TCP/UDP Port number It is now possible to change the TCP/UDP port number. Bug Fixes Filtering & Routing (Windows) After a firmware update, the Filter list is now cleared prior to re-reading it from the MiniPlex. This prevents duplicate entries. Filtering & Routing (macOS) The headings in the SeaTalk columns are truncated to 'S'. On some computers, the 'ST' was too wide and displayes as '..'. Capturing the filter list now places the checkboxes in the correct input columns. Selecting an entry now works correctly and clicking on Delete longer crashes the app. Firmware Update (macOS) The version check of a firmware file was wrong and therefore newer versions were alwas detected as being older than the loaded version.

3.72.0	3.33.1	Improves reading the multiplexer configuration with high NMEA traffic. Also fixes a bug in restoring the network settings of the MiniPlex-2E. The required firmware V3.33.1 is included in the program. This can be loaded using menu Tools -> Automatic Update.
2.31BT	2.4.0 - 2.6.3 (Bluetooth)	Special version for the MiniPlex-41BT/42BT V2.4.0 to V2.6.3. These multiplexers have an AIS mode but this is not reported to MPX-Config. This special version of MPX-Config always lists AIS mode in the Mode of Operation selector.

– on win7 64bit is ok and working.

– Passthru is only USB, because of speed stability and other things, but you can try.

– With this installation my VAS5054 is working under 64bit as a PassThru interface.

– VAS5054A cloneworks.

Note:

***This drivers are to make the interface work as PassThru with other softwares, like Xentry etc.Therefore Not working with odis 4.3.3 an vas5054a says drivers not installed on windows. If you are using only VAS5054 and ODIS you don´t need to use passthru drivers, ODIS already have
the correct drivers for your interface.

To have also ODIS on same machine you need to chose your interface from the list again,
and also mod the REG file to add your interface serial number.
